The final quarter of 2020 saw varying performance trends for the top geolocation games in the United States. The data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular mobile applications.

Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. continued to be a strong performer with revenue peaking at over $8.7M in the second week of December. Downloads showed a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 269K in the third week of December. Weekly active users saw a decline from around 17M at the start of the quarter to approximately 14M at the end.

Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. experienced a revenue high of $281K in the third week of December, while downloads peaked at around 24K in the same period. The game’s weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter slightly lower at around 77K compared to 79K at the beginning.

Niantic’s Harry Potter: Wizards Unite saw its revenue reach over $100K in mid-December, with weekly active users remaining relatively stable around the 160K mark throughout the quarter. Downloads, however, showed a slight uptick in the final week of December to around 8.6K.

Lastly, Five Nights at Freddy's AR by Illumix, Inc. experienced its highest revenue for the quarter at over $172K during the third week of December. The game's downloads were highest at the beginning of the quarter with around 75K, while weekly active users saw a peak of 192K in the last week of October.
